If you have an incoming kindergartener for the 2012-2013 year, please click here!
At the Kindergarten & First Grade Program, on site at the Memorial School, the following options are available:
● Morning MAP only - 8:00 a.m. until PM kindergarten (12:05 p.m.)
- Morning MAP and return to MAP after PM kindergarten until 4:15 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.
● AM kindergarten dismissal (11:05 a.m.), MAP until 2:45 p.m., 4:15 p.m., or 6:00 p.m.
● PM kindergarten dismissal (2:35 p.m.), MAP until 6:00 p.m.
● Full day kindergarten dismissal (2:35 p.m.), MAP until 6:00 p.m.
This program is open on all ½ days, some non-school days that MAP elects to be open, and during the February and April vacation weeks.
At the Kindergarten Extension Program, located behind the Wheelock School, the following options are available:
● Morning only - 8:30 a.m. until afternoon kindergarten
● Afternoon dismissal - 11:05 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Mid-day transportation to and from the Kindergarten Extension Program is provided by the Medfield Public Schools. This program will not be opened on ½ days, non-school days that MAP elects to be open, or during the February and April vacation weeks. Annual tuition is slightly lower at this program as well.
MAP will be confirming enrollments in late May. At that time, you will receive either:
● a confirmation letter asking that you send in a two-week tuition deposit
● a letter indicating that your first choice or all of your days may not be available at this time. If this is the case, we will work with you to explore your options as changes will occur between May and the start of kindergarten in the fall.

Siblings in program receive 5% discount for the lesser tuition.
Your weekly tuition is multiplied by the number of weeks in the school year (typically 38 for grade 1-8 and 37 for kindergarten) and divided in 10 equal installments that are payable in advance.
· Tuition is charged for holidays/non-school days that fall within the academic year.
· MAP will charge for any snow days that will be made up at the end of the school year.
· MAP does not include/bill tuition for the school vacation weeks (December, February, or April break).
· MAP offers February & April vacation programs that families may elect to sign up for and pay to attend.
· MAP does not charge extra tuition for coverage on early release or conference days.
· If there is a non-school day that MAP elects to open, there will be a special sign up and extra tuition may be charged.
Tuition deposits are held in escrow until you leave the program and then refunded to you provided your account is paid in full. If you add or drop days during the year, your annual tuition is re-calculated and you will receive a new installment amount.
More detailed information can be found in our Parent Handbook (updated yearly) posted on our website, www.medfieldafterschoolprogram.com. All of our special sign ups (non-school days, vacation week coverage) will be posted on our website 3 weeks prior to the special openings.
